Who can use Azimo Business?
Azimo Business is designed for small to medium-sized businesses. CEOs, accountants, freelancers and entrepreneurs use Azimo Business to make fast, low-cost international payments on behalf of companies registered in Europe (EEA area). Limited companies, partnerships, trusts, charities, sole traders and more can use Azimo Business to send money internationally.
One or more employees, within the same company, can send on behalf of the company by setting up separate Azimo Business accounts. Multi-user accounts are not possible at this time.
How do I create an account?
To create an Azimo Business account, all you have to do is complete our sign-up form. Signing up is easy and only takes a few minutes.
Your company’s authorised representative can sign up in their name and use the account to send money on behalf of the company. We require the following information during registration:

- Full name
- Phone number
- Date of birth
- Address
Role in the company
- Business details
- Company type
- Company name
- Company registration number (if any)
Which documents do I need to provide?
When sending money, you might need to provide additional documents for verification. We may ask for:
- Proof of identity of the company representative
- Proof of personal address of the company representative
- Company bank statement
- Company registration documents
- Shareholder registration documents
How long does it take to set up an account?
Setting up an account takes a few minutes. You can create a transfer as soon as sign-up is complete.
When sending money, you might need to provide additional documents for verification. We may ask for:

- Company bank statement
- Company registration documents
- Shareholder registration documents
Which countries and currencies are available?
You can use Azimo Business to send money to 189 countries including China, the United States, Hong Kong, Nigeria and Poland. For the full list of countries, see our rate calculator.
Depending on the sending and receiving country, you can make payments to consumers and businesses in the local currency of your recipient’s country. With a SWIFT transfer, you can also make a transfer in major currencies such as USD, EUR or GBP.

How safe is Azimo?

Under FCA regulations, Azimo holds all customer funds separately from the money used for the everyday running of the business.
This means that, in the unlikely event that Azimo should cease to exist, all customer funds are held in a low-risk financial institution, and would be paid back from this account.
What are the minimum and maximum transfer amounts?
The minimum transfer amount is 10 GBP, while the maximum transfer amount depends on your delivery and payment method:
SWIFT- The maximum transfer SWIFT transfer permitted is 250,000 GBP, or equivalent.
- There are no limits for transfers made to Nigeria and Poland.

Please note that transfers made with a company card have a limit of 12,000 GBP per transfer.
